Curupay pronounced (curu-pie) is known as patagonian rosewood on the indoor flooring circuit. It is an exotic specie for your decking needs and is even more dense and durable as Ipe. You will not find this decking tile anywhere else except from hardwood home. Our Curupay wood is certified through the Bolivian Forestal program. With an exquisite darker grain and beautiful color. This wood darkens to a deep burgandy red color over time and will eventually even out to a dark brown color. A simple oil application will keep the wood rich and colorful. Curupay has an insect and rot resistance rating of 25+ years. We have used this product in any North american cliamate with long lasting results.
